Manage User Permissions

As a Training Partner, you are responsible for managing your employees' access permissions within your My Red Cross account. This includes assigning appropriate roles such as TP Administrator, Course Admin, Submit Role, or Instructor, based on the responsibilities of each staff member.

Update or Inactivate Your Employee

  1. Sign in to your My Red Cross account.
  2. On the main menu, select MY ACCOUNT, then Permissions.
  3. On the Permissions page:
  • Enter the contact's name in the search box.
  • Click on the magnifying glass icon.
  • Select the employee's name to open their Contact Details.

4. Adjust the following roles as needed.

  • Training Partner Admin: Set to Yes or No.
  • Instructor: Set to Yes or No.
  • Course Admin Role: Chose None, Any or Assigned.
  • Submit Role: Choose None, Any or Assigned.
  • Click APPLY to save changes.

5. Confirm that the permissions have been updated. 

6. To remove permissions.

  • Toggle the Active status to No.
  • You can reactivate the employee’s permissions at any time.

Add a New Employee

  1. Sign in to your My Red Cross account.
  2. On the main menu, select MY ACCOUNT, then Permissions.
  3. On the Permissions page:
  • Enter the contact's name in the search box.
  • Click on the magnifying glass icon.  You will see "There are no records to display" message appears.

4. Click CREATE TP CONTACT.

5. On the Search Contact page:

  • Enter the Last Name and Email.
  • If adding an instructor, ensure the email and last name match the certified instructor's credentials.
  • Click SEARCH

    6. When the contact appears, click TAKE THIS CONTACT.

    7. On the Contact Details page, select Active to Yes and assign the appropriate permissions.

    • Training Partner Admin to Yes or No.
    • Instructor to Yes or No.
    • Course Admin Role to None, Any or Assigned.
    • Submit Role to None, Any or Assigned.
    • Click APPLY.

    8. Confirm that your new contact has been added on the Permissions page.
