How do I resolve the Instructor is invalid error?

This procedure shows how to verify your existing certification status including the issue and expiry dates, and how to submit a request if your issue is unresolved.


•  You have an existing My Red Cross (MyRC) online account. 


1.  Sign in on the Red Cross Training site.

2.  Navigate to MY PROFILE and select My Certifications from the drop-down menu. A page will display with a table listing your certifications. Verify that they are Valid according to the Status column on the far right.

3.  If a certificate is Expired, then you may receive the error message ‘Invalid instructor’ when creating a new course as an Instructor, or when issuing certificates to course participants.

4.  f your certification is Valid, then it may be your instructor status is not associated to your profile. Please Submit a request on our Help & Support centre.
