Why Do You Ask for Donations on the Street, Door to Door and Over the Phone?
Since 2003 the Canadian Red Cross has been conducting face to face and telemarketing campaigns across the country. These campaigns are part of the Canadian RedCross’ national strategy to recruit new monthly donors. Face-to-face canvassing is one of the best ways to attract new monthly donors and telemarketing allows us to have a conversation with our current donors to explain the benefits of a monthly gift to both them, and our organization.
