Requirements
• You have an existing My Red Cross (MyRC) account with TP Administrator permission level, and have signed in.
• You have an understanding of the different Training Partner Roles (Individual and Combined) and the associated Permissions. For further detail, consult the tables in following article: MyRC Account Roles and Permissions – Canadian Red Cross
Procedure
1. From the Canadian Red Cross Training home page, select MY ACCOUNT, then Permissions from the main navigation bar.
2. On the Permissions page, verify that the Contact does not already exist by entering the name in the search box, then click the magnifying glass icon. The system returns the message 'There are no records to display'.
Click the red CREATE TP CONTACT button on the right.
3. On the Search Contact page, enter the Last Name and the Email in the fields for the contact. If you wish to add an instructor, please make sure to use the last name and email that holds the Instructor certifications. Click the red SEARCH button on the bottom right.
4. The Contact name appears. Click the red TAKE THIS CONTACT button on the right.
5. On the Contact Details page, ensure that Active is set to Yes. Use the drop-down arrow on the far right of a field to select between options. Then click the red APPLY button on the bottom right.
6. Verify that the Contact appears on the Permissions page with the desired Active TP Access Permissions. Click the Contact name to view or edit details.
