Blended and In-Class Course Completion Requirements
If you're enrolled in a blended course (online and in-class), you must complete the online portion before attending the in-class session. Plan your time carefully, as the online portion may take up to eight hours.
To successfully complete the in-class course, you must:
- Demonstrate key skills and steps taught during instruction (e.g., CPR administration).
- Pass a written test at the end of the class (multiple-choice format, 75% passing mark).
- Attend and actively participate in 100% of the course
Online Course Completion Requirements
Our courses are modular. Each module includes activities to help you check your understanding of the concepts being taught. At the end of each module, you'll complete a short knowledge evaluation consisting of multiple-choice questions.
To proceed to the next module, you must successfully pass the current module evaluation.
Navigating the Online Course
The navigation sidebar on the left-hand side of your screen displays the module and page you are currently viewing. You can use this sidebar to review individual pages at any time.
To move between modules, click “Next” on the page tracker located at the top or bottom of the screen.
Your course progress is automatically saved, so if you navigate away, you can return to the course and resume where you left off.
